Cotonou reporting:
The Leader of the
Revolution and President Yayi Boni last 19 june attended the
mass youth festival organized in the Friendship Stadium in
the capital of Benin, Cotonou in embodiment of their merger
to launch the battle of the continent's unity and in
declaration of their readiness to implement what he
suggested during the final session of the CEN-SAD
Community's tenth summit regarding the instigation of the
African masses to achieve unity.
Upon the arrival of the
Leader and President Boni who escorted him from his
residence to the festival venue organized by thousands
youths and women's organizations in Benin and the clamour
raised in welcome of the Leader.
After playing the anthem
of Allahu Akhbar and the national anthem of Benin the Leader
inspected the guard of honour which assembled for his salute
and he saluted the masses of youth in the festival who were
clamouring in support of the Great Al Fateh Revolution as a
people's jamahiri revolution and for the long life of the
leader. His pictures were raised together with the green
banners and placards with the following slogans: the youth
of Benin are mobilized to advance ahead with CEN-SAD, The
Leader Muammar Al Qathafi and President Yayi Boni are united
for Africa's development and peace.
The youth festival was
attended by the speaker and members of the National
Assembly, the Prime Minister, ministers and senior
officials, members of the High
Court,
Benin's Muslim Union, heads of Sufi youth sects, youth
organizations, women's associations, teachers trade unions,
Benin's graduates of the universities of the Great
Jamahiriya and Benin's Revolutionary Committees Movement.
The speeches delivered in
the festival saluted the Leader's speech and the youth of
Benin pledged to go ahead with him as leader, thinker,
founder of the African Union and maker of the era of the
masses, with the aim of achieving the continent's unity and
conquering those who obstruct its progress.
The Benin youth revealed
in their speeches that they are living a happy African day
with the presence of the Leader amongst them. They announced
their readiness to implement what he announced as the end of
the CEN SAD summit that there is no leniency or backtracking
and no more time wasting and that the African Federal
Government has to be established to achieve the ultimate
goal which is the establishment of the United States of
Africa. The youth also declared that they would mobilize the
African masses to Achieve Africa's unity as the continent in
indivisible and has to take the status which it deserves and
that African people have to feel their unity.
The social, national,
local and professional associations in Benin expressed
during the festival the gratitude and thanks of the people
of Benin to the Leader in view of the Libyan support for
their brothers, particularly the needs and those suffering
from disease, disablement or those who have been made
orphans. They expressed their happiness for his declaration
that the CEN-SAD community will go ahead in the campaign for
the mechanization of farming to achieve an increase in
agricultural production and overcome the food crisis.
In expression of this
gratitude Benin associations offered to the Leader of the
Revolution genuine African costumes made from traditional
artisans in Benin.
The Muslim Union in Benin
declared in the name of all Muslims and on behalf of the
people of Benin that they are awarding the Leader of the
Revolution the status of the grand Islamic leader, a status
that is only issued once.
The youth of the CEN-SAD
community and pan Africa also awarded the Leader of the
Revolution in this festival the African youth medal in
recognition of his thought and his principles advocating
Africa's unity. |
