The wage-worker : “He who produces is the one who consumes.” Wage-workers are a type of slave, however improved their wages may be. The wage-worker is like a slave to the master who hires him. He is even a temporary slave, since his slavery lasts as long as he works for wages from the employer, whether the latter is an individual or a state.

With the greatest achievements of the Al Fatah Revolution under the heroic leadership of Comrade Brother Muammar Al-Qathafi, Libya has imprinted its brand as a sovereign, daring, insubordinate, free and victorious country in an Africa plagued by the greater decapitation of its unique and legendary identity.

The Al-Fatah Revolution

September 1st, 1969

A group of twelve officers gathered in the Revolution Commandment (RCC) stormed the Libyan capital on the evening of August 31, 1969 taking advantage of the king's absence being on journey, such as early in the morning of September 1, the authority of the Revolutionary Commandment was established on almost all the territory without a single gunshot or mortar.
It is a young officer of 27 years, then a captain, who will be promoted a few days later to the rank of colonel, who read on the radio the first revolutionary press-release that puts an end to the reactionary regime and heralding the era of the revolution.

Great Jamahiriya: The revolution that has changed an entire nation...

The day of September 1st 1969 was made in Libya by the accession into power by a young officer, Muammar Al-Qathafi who, throughout history, Libyan people as a whole appointed him Leader of the Revolution of Al-Fatah. It was a bloodless revolution, a revolution carried out by the whole population who were tired of the bourgeoisie, the corruption and cronyism. It was also a revolution whose slogan was the largest surrender of power to the people. It was the revolution of Al-Fatah to end up with a regime of corruption, of cronyism and all that went with it, a regime where the people were left to itself, in misery and suffering, while the imperialist occupiers and their supporters of the bourgeoisie in place, took advantage of oil and gas resources available in the country.

It must be stressed that Libya was among the poorest countries in the world. The expectation went on until the arrival of a worthy son of the country, weary of seeing his people suffering, and armed with aggressiveness and courage to give a new breath, the breath of the renaissance and sovereignty long time trampled.

The Leader of the Al-Fatah Revolution, Muammar al-Qathafi, is a man inspired by a sense of duty and that nurtured the ambition to make his country a power in Africa and in the world.

The al-Fatah Revolution heralded the beginning of a new era distinguished by the popular administration and the exercise of real people’s power. This new light that was illuminating Libya ...( Read more)

The Al-Fatah Revolution, 41 years later...

Socialism-Justice-identity, this motto that is the hallmark of a people proud to embody a new political and cultural world order after the fall of monarchical, despotic, and Republican systems known in Europe after World War II, Libya is since the 1st September 1969, the country that has succeeded to give its letters of nobility to the world with a real and tangible economic, social and progressive politics and especially without any outside input.

In this progressive perspective, the Leader of the Revolution Muammar Al-Qathafi working for an evolutionalist politics beyond national borders since the advent of 1st September, has created the conditions for prosperity of the people of Omar Al-Mokhtar while extending in the 70's his revolutionary vision to people who have longtime been weakened by a corrupt administration supported by the Western invaders with in particular the Americans. ...(Read more)

THE GREEN BOOK
The social, i.e. national, factor is the driving force of human history. The social bond which binds together each human group, from the family through the tribe to the nation, is the basis for the movement of history. Heroes in history are persons who have made sacrifices for causes. But for what causes? They have made sacrifices for others. But which others? They are those who have a relationship with them. The relationship between an individual and a group is a social relationship, i.e. the relationship between the members of a nation. For nations are founded on nationalism. Those causes, therefore, are national causes and national relationship is the social relationship. The social relationship is derived from society, i.e. the relationship between the members of a society, just as nationalism is derived from the nation, i.e. the relationship between the members of a nation. The social relationship is, accordingly, the national relationship and the national relationship is the social relationship. For the group is a nation and the nation is a group even if they differ in number, leaving aside the extended definition of the group which means the provisional group regardless of the national relations of its members. What is meant by the group here is the group which is permanent by virtue of its own national relations (…).
